The 2018 Ford Escape will be available in three variants, when it comes to engines. Base unit remains the same old but reliable 2.5 liter engine, which is good for 168 horsepower and 170 pound-feet of torque. There is also a new 1.5 liter turbocharger unit, which has max output of 179 horsepower and 177 pound-feet of torque. Finally, top model features familiar 2.0 liter turbo engine, which for this occasion comes with improvements in terms of power and now outputs 245 horses and 275 pound-feet of torque.
