This full-size car is under production since 1960 and it is considered as one of the legendary models on the Australian market. During all these years, it made through many modifications and current model is in its seventh generation which will unfortunately be the last one. The company now has a strategy that doesn’t include models that are oriented to the specific markets so this legendary car, which is completely designed and produced by Ford Motor Company of Australia, will end its production until 2016. The last modification comes with 2015 Ford Falcon, which comes as refreshed model.

2015 Ford Falcon changes

This model will be retired soon, so company decided to give very limited budget of only 102 million for its last modification. Because of that, 2015 Ford Falcon keeps most of the parts unchanged, compared to 2008 year model. Doors, roof, glasshouse and rear quarter panels remain the same. On the other side, front and rear end made through some modifications so 2015 Falcon comes with new front fascia and revisited back. The front fascia now follows company’s new Kinetic design language, which includes new sharper headlights and trapezoidal grille. Back of the car follows these changes, so it now features redesigned taillights and also some chrome details over the boot lid. When it is about interior of the car, changes are minor.

Although it is much smaller, it has very decent amount of power and, what is most important, it has about 20 percent better fuel economy and significantly lower CO2 emissions, compared to V6 engine.
