2018 Lincoln MKC
There are many reports that suggest 2018 Lincoln MKC should come with some major changes. According to them, we will see a mid-cycle update for the next year. If we consider that this luxury crossover came in 2014, next year could be a perfect time for such refresh. After three years of production, this premium compact crossover mark decent sales result and we believe that company want to go above 30.000 units per year in close future. As we already mentioned, this model is about three years old and next year could be a perfect time for refresh. We should see some novelties that are usual for these kinds of restyling. Also, we are sure that base characteristics will remain untouched. This small premium crossover will continue to ride on company’s Global C platform and to share most of its mechanical parts with crossovers like Ford Escape and Ford Kuga. On the other side, we should see some visual updates. The 2018 Lincoln MKC will probably come with new front end, which will feature modified grille, headlights and maybe even new bumper. We expect that rear will could also under some modifications, but with lower intensity. Interior changes are not expected, at least in terms of cabin design. On the other side, we could see new technologies, standard features and similar things.
2018 Lincoln MKC engine
We are pretty sure that 2018 Lincoln MKC will continue with same powertrain as current model. However, some modifications which will provide more power and better efficiency are quite possible. Current model comes with two engines in offer. Base model features a 2.0 liter gasoline engine, which is good for about 240 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque. Optional engine is company’s fresh 2.3 liter engine, which has max output of 285 horses and 305 pound-feet of torque. Both engines come in pair with automatic gearbox, which is the only transmission choice.

We still don’t know when 2018 Lincoln MKC will exactly come, but if we consider that there are some big changes in plans, launch date could be a little bit earlier than usual. It should continue with the same price, which goes in a range between 35.000 and 50.000 dollars, roughly.
