2017 Ford Ranger engine
The 2017 Ford Ranger is going to get its power from three different types of drivetrains. Base models are packed with 3.2-l TDCi 5-cylinder unit, and this option can produce around 200 hp and 350 lb-ft of torque. New systems can improve fuel consumption for 10 percent, which will make new Ranger run 25 mpg combined. Second option is diesel-powered engine. It is 2.2-l TDCi Duratorq, which delivers less power, round 160 hp and 280 lb-ft of torque. Last unit is 2.5-l direct-injected Duratec engine. This one could be possible in hybrid mode, but this information wasn’t confirmed by company.
