We also expect to see many carbon fiber details all over the body. On the rear end, there will be installed a large roof spoiler and also new bumper with an integrated diffuser. Interior of 2017 Ford Fiesta RS will also feature several unique details. There will be many racing-style features like Recaro seats, flat-bottom steering wheel, alloy sports pedals and modified shifter. Instrument panel is also expected to suffer some modifications in order to additional sportiness to the car. This model will also feature company’s known hi-tech features like SYNC infotainment system.
2017 Ford Fiesta RS engine
It is expected that 2017 Fiesta RS won’t get new engine, but improved current 1.6 liter four-cylinder EcoBoost. It is expected that this engine will be boosted up to around 240 horsepower and 250 lb-ft of torque. With that amount of power, new model will be able to sprint from 0 to 60 mph in less than six seconds, while top speed will be around 140 mph. There are also rumors that 2017 Ford Fiesta RS will be available in all-wheel drive configuration, but you should take this with big reserve.

At this point, it is very hard to speculate about release date and price, so you should take our predictions with big reserve. Possible launch date will be somewhere in late 2016, while price should go around 25.000 dollars. Model like Fiat 500 Abarth and Mini John Cooper Works Hardtop are seen as main competitors.
