2017 Ford F250 engine
It is expected that 2017 Ford F250 will come with the same engines in offer. The base one is a 6.2 liter V8 petrol engine with 385 horses and 405 pound-feet of torque. There will be also a diesel engine in offer. It is the same 6.7 liter Power Stroke turbocharged V8 engine that makes 440 horsepower and has magnificent 860 lb-ft of max torque. However, you should take this numbers with reserve, because this engine will probably come upgraded, which basically means more power and better fuel economy. It is also very possible that 2017 Ford F250 will get new transmission. Instead of current 6-speed automatic, new model should get new 10-speed automatic transmission, which ford is developing together with General Motors. However, this transmission will probably be installed only on RWD models, while AWD variants will keep current 6-speed automatic.
