2016 Lincoln MKC
Lincoln is known for their luxurious vehicles and the company have never spared on quality materials. Any of their new vehicles are eagerly expected by enthusiasts, so same situation will be with 2016 Lincoln MKC. Since it was announced, everyone is sure that will bring something new and exciting. Crossover was launched in 2014, and new one is going to be redesigned. It won-t be large work, but slight upgrades are certain on both design and engine specs. Also, gearbox could be taken from some Ford SUV, and we assume there will be some other familiar parts on the new Lincoln MKC.
2016 Lincoln MKC redesign
First appearance of the MKC crossover turned a lot of attention on it. Its luxurious equipment and attractive outside look couldn’t go by unnoticed. Since it made its expectations, we strongly believe company won’t make any major modifications on 2016 Lincoln MKC. Same trim levels are going to be available. These are Premiere, Select, and top class is Reserve. Xenon and LED lights are standard for Premiere models. Power-folding mirrors and 18” alloy wheels highlights exterior. Mid-range, Reserve models of 2016 MKC, brings panoramic sunroof and power liftgate. Inside, almost everything is luxurious, which is expected from Lincoln vehicles. Leather is used massively for upholstery, and wood for panel elements. Seats are heated and front seats have 8-way power option. Newest MyLincoln infotainment system will be installed and large touch screen is going to be used as control center. Satellite navigation and 9-speaker audio system are available.
2016 Lincoln MKC engine
Under the hood of the 2016 Lincoln MKC could be found two options. A 2.0-l is made for weaker models, and 2.3-l is stronger one. Both drivetrains are from EcoBoost family. First one is equipped with turbocharger, direct injection, and it is good for 240 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque. A 2.3-l gives higher output, 285 horsepower and 305 lb-ft of torque. It also has direct injection and turbocharger, but Ti-VCT system (independent variable cam timing) is available. Transmission is still unknown. Current MKC crossover sends power through 6-speed automated gearbox, and Lincoln is developing 9-speed gearbox, which is not confirmed yet.

Early months on 2016 should be perfect timing for the new crossover, and predicted price is around $35.000 for base models of 2016 Lincoln MKC, up to $50.000.
