2015 Ford F-Series
Ford F-Series is a line of full-size pickups which has been sold continuously since 1948. It is a best-selling vehicle in U.S. for last 32 years and best-selling pickup for last 43 years. For these, almost seven decades we have seen 13 generations of it. Last year on 2014 International Auto Show in Detroit, company presented new, thirteenth generation which came into serial production this November and it is available as 2015 Ford F-150. New model comes with new exterior design, which is heavily influenced by 2013 Atlas concept, new interior, new engines, new platform and body structure and many other novelties.

The 2015 Ford F-Series comes with completely new look, which is pretty much identical to Atlas Concept. It comes with new platform, which brings many improvements. It keeps body-on-frame construction, but this time most of the body structure is made of aluminum, while frame is made of high-strength steel. The only part that is made of sheet metal is firewall. All of this provides massive weight savings, around 700 pounds, which makes big impact on fuel economy and overall performances. Just like Atlas Concept, 2015 Ford F-Series features adjustable air dams and Active Grille Shutters in order to improve fuel economy even mode. Interior comes with blue LED lighting and it features many driver-assistance system such as 360 degree camera, cruise control, collision warning, Blind Spot Information System, Cross-Traffic Alert, lane-departure system etc.
2015 Ford F-Series engines
The 2015 Ford F-Series comes with four engines in offer. There are two new units and two that carried over from previous model. The base 3.7 liter engine is replaced with new 3.5 L Ti-VCT which makes 283 hp and 255 lb-ft of torque. The other new engine is 2.7 liter EcoBoost V6 that outputs 325 horses and 375 pound-feet of torque. Two units that carried over are 3.5 liter EcoBoost V6 and 5.0 liter Coyote V8. The first one has an output of 365 hp and 420 lb-ft, while second one is good for 385 horses and 387 lb-ft of twist. All engines are paired with 6-speed automatic transmission and it is available in RWD and AWD configurations.

The price of 2015 Ford F-Series goes in very wide range. The base XL model starts around 25.000 dollars, while higher trim-level models like King Ranch or Platinum could easily go over 50.000 dollars.
