Profile of the 2015 Ford Expedition is going to be almost the same, with few cosmetic changes. It has slightly more attractive look. It is still based on F-150 platform. However, Ford’s truck suffers many changes for upcoming model, and 2015 Expedition keeps previous model concept. We expect some changes in opposite direction from F series of Ford vehicles. Exterior look is refreshed with thick new chrome strip on the back of the SUV. Wheels are now 22-inch sized and some chrome is used for exhaust pipes. Also, interior is modified. First of all, upholstery is completely replaced, and higher trims have special offers and equipment. Overall length will be longer than previous, adding almost 15 inches tto 2015 Ford Expedition. With this enlargement, this SUV gains some van-like design. However, two rows of seats are kept, which means additional space is used for more cargo space and more head and leg-room.

There is no much info about powertrains which could be installed under 2015 Ford Expedition hood. We heard that Ford dropped V8 unit and plans to put EcoBoost V-6 in the 2015 Explorer. With it, crossover could gain around 2 mpg comparing to previous model which had 13-18 mpg rates for city and highway drive on 4×4 and 14/20 mpg for 2WD. This engine is planned for F-150 and there it produces 365 hp and 420 pound-feet of torque.
