2015 Ford Bronco
Ford is turning most of its attention in 2015 to their F-series vehicles. That is the most effective segment. However, some needs of buyers couldn’t be satisfied with it. Their SUV class is not so huge as truck, and people in recent years are buying crossovers for off-road conditions, rather than trucks. That’s why Ford decided to launch refreshment this year, and it is 2015 Ford Bronco. Classic SUV from US carmaker will be on the road again, which is going to surprise all fans and enthusiasts.
2015 Ford Bronco competition
Ford got to idea of re-launching its classic SUV as 2015 Ford Bronco. Many other companies are turning its crossovers into minivans or trying to lure buyers with other types of vehicles with same characteristics and purposes. The F-150 is an off-road vehicle with similar options, but it is still not SUV and towing is the first why it was made for. Explorer and Escape are not real competition, since these models are way under F-series. From other companies, Chevrolet Tahoe and Nissan Xterra could be the biggest competitors, while also Pathfinder could find its way there. Also, we must not forget Jeep, whose Wrangler and Grand Cherokees are recording higher sale numbers recently.
2015 Ford Bronco performance
Concept of the 2015 Ford Bronco turned a lot of attention to it. It is certain that this SUV, like many vehicles from various classes, will be based on F-series platform. Chassis is probably very similar and 4WD system is implemented on 2015 Bronco too. However, these are not only parts that Bronco will borrow from F-150 truck. Under the hood, it is very likely, that 3.5-l EcoBoost V6 is base option. Also 5.0-l and 4.5-l diesel engine are in the mix, but not confirmed yet. New 2015 Bronco could get SVT or FOX shocks, as Ford Raptor, but this is not so certain. Even 4WD is going to be standard option, expect also 2WD as optional system, for better fuel economy.
2015 Ford Bronco release date and price
It is not confirmed if 2015 Ford Bronco is coming this year. There are some rumors telling it could be delayed for 2016. However, situation could become clear in following months, when releasing of all specifications is expected. Price is also unknown, but if 2015 Bronco wants to be competitive with other vehicles, it shouldn’t cost more than Jeep Wrangler, which has $26,000 tag.
